How does the whole thing work?

Where can I get the COVID-19 app?
You can download the COVID-19 app from the Google Play Store or AppStore. To do this, scan the QR code on your label.
Where can I get the label with the QR code and ID number?
You will receive the label as soon as a smear test for COVID-19 is performed on you. Please note that you can only use the Corona App with this label and that the procedure is not yet in widespread use.
How do I log in?
To log in, open the app and scan the QR code on your label. Alternatively, you can enter your individual ID number, which you will also find on your label.
Is my data secure?
Yes. No personal data is stored or sent. The respective ID is not linked to personal data. The ID on the server does not allow any conclusion to be drawn about the patient. In addition to securing the operating environment, an encryption process is used when transporting the data over the Internet (end-to-end encryption). After 30 days without activity, the respective order is deleted again.
